2023 Provincetown Carnival Parade: August 17, 2023
The Provincetown Carnival Parade was on August 17th, and PFLAG Cape Cod was there, in partnership with our friends at Fenway Health and Cape & Islands Trans Resource Fund! This year's Carnival theme was "Land of Toys", and our float was decorated to celebrate the "Care Bears", perfect symbols of caring, friendship, and love!
Below are photos of our group, which can also be viewed on our Facebook and Instagram pages! Be sure to also check out two short videos of our group during the parade on our YouTube channel or by clicking the two images below (as well as on our Facebook and Instagram pages)! |
And if you'd like to check out a bunch of photos from Ann Burke of Fenway Health, most of which were taken from our float of the bystanders lining Commercial Street (many of whom were festively and creatively costumed), here's a link to Ann's photos!
A big THANK YOU to our sponsor, Beacon Financial Planning, for funding our participation in the parade, D.R.T. Heating & Air Conditioning for the use of their truck, and Scott Goldstein of S.G. Custom Homes/Remodeling Plus for driving it!

Martha's Vineyard Pride Parade: June 11, 2022
What a day! PFLAG Cape Cod was thrilled and honored to march in the first-ever Martha's Vineyard Pride Parade in Oak Bluffs on Saturday, June 11th! From the ferry ride there and back, and meeting up with our new island friends, Ann Marie and Joey/Chloe (who welcomed us with open arms), we had a great time marching in the fun and festive parade. Congratulations to the Oak Bluffs Business Association and NAACP Martha’s Vineyard Branch for a wonderfully successful Pride event, and a big “thank you” for inviting PFLAG Cape Cod to be a part of it!
