Speakers Bureau
Many religious, social service, governmental, civic and business groups struggle with how to increase understanding and acceptance of their lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer members and customers. As LGBTQ+ individuals and family members, we at PFLAG Cape Cod believe that by telling our stories and answering questions, we can change the hearts and minds of audience members.
PFLAG Cape Cod will bring a panel of 2-3 parents, family members and/or LGBTQ+ people to present to interested groups. We will give a brief overview of terminology relating to sexual orientation and gender identity, tell our stories, respond to audience questions, and provide materials and resources.
